Joyful, exuberant... and a little bit bonkers. The wonderful Riffs & Whirligigs is a punchy, charismatic little number, perfect as a concert opener. Funky bass riffs and incessant percussion beats drive the piece along like a runaway train, with the rest of the band providing catchy jazz licks and syncopated rhythmic motifs.
